About Us
The Story Behind China Travel Journey
Who are we? Well, we’re probably not who you think. We’re not professional travel bloggers or a big tour company—just two ordinary office workers from China. English? To be honest, this has been a huge challenge. As you can probably tell, English is not our first language! . We’ve leaned hard on translation apps and AI sidekicks to smooth things out, but hey, a few quirks sneak in—like our love for adding “hahaha” where a period might do. It’s all part of the charm, we figure.
We want to share a perspective from the inside—the China we live in and love every day. Our guides and food recommendations reflect our own tastes and experiences—We hope they feel as authentic and engaging as a recommendation from a good friend.

Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to provide you with the most authentic guides to China. We want to show you the beauty, history, and everyday culture of our country through honest, local eyes.
We also want to be honest with you. While our main goal is to give you the most authentic guide to China we can, we’re not doing this just for charity. We put a lot of our free time and heart into this, and we hope that one day, it might earn us a little extra income.
Maybe in the future, we’ll sell some cool Chinese souvenirs we find, or maybe even share some of our family’s secret recipes—who knows! But please, don’t worry. This website is like our child. We promise we will never fill it with annoying ads or compromise our values. Any future plans will be small, reasonable, and never get in the way of your experience. Whether you’re plotting a trip or just armchair-voyaging, we want you leaving with stories that stick, friends made across oceans.
Meet the Founders
👋 Hello everyone! We are Lukas and Hardy. Lukas is from a city called Mianyang, and Hardy is from Panzhihua (a place famous for sunshine and mangoes!). and now we both work in a small company in Chengdu.
Food’s our love language, hands down. Whether it’s spicy Sichuan hotpot, street snacks, or international cuisines, we love trying it all. In fact, we go out together for meals every few days. Beyond the munchies, though?
A big reason we started this website was to make new friends and learn about other cultures. So, here’s a serious offer: if you ever visit Chengdu, please send us an email! We would be absolutely thrilled to take you on a real local food tour. Ladies first! Hahaha, just kidding, everyone is welcome!

We Want to Hear From You!
Is there a topic you’re curious about? A city you want us to cover, or a strange food you’ve heard of? Please contact us with your ideas! We will do our best to research it and update the site as soon as we can. After all, this project isn’t just ours—it’s also for you.
